Journal Entries

There are plenty of ways to “journal” and with this understanding, Jadebook currently has 3 ways to journal:

  1. Normal Journal Entries

  2. Prompted Journal

  3. Guided Journal

All entry types support the below features, except the guided entries which do not support transcription.

Guided journals are currently unique to Jadebook. They can not be exported and are not supported on the open-source version of Jadebook

  • Support transcription

    • Free users can use browser transcription

    • Pro have access to AI transcription

Personalisation

Journal entries are personal, so we want you to be able to personalise your entries. Currently, you can add cover images and icons. We do plan to port the theme feature from the open-source version of Jadebook, which introduces extensive visual customisation as well as font selection.
